On a windy, freezing cold morning in February, at the crack of dawn, Courtney and Ned ventured out into the city with me. Sunrise is my favorite time for engagement sessions in NYC because you have fewer crowds to deal with, and the the sun streams through the streets so beautifully.
They were real troopers for being willing to get up so early and in 20 degree weather. The wind was freezing cold, but you almost can’t even tell in the photos! Courtney was rocking a dress at the Lincoln Center and was hardly shivering.
After the Lincoln Center, we trekked up to the streets of the Upper West Side, where we found random spots to hang out and take photos. Their engagement session was timed so that Ned was visiting at the time; they are currently doing long distance between Virginia and New York. Their time spent together is precious and I’m so glad they chose to spend this time with me.
